Bakugan Battle Brawlers, the strategic battle game that is sweeping the nation! Bakugan Battle Brawlers originally started as a Japanese television series.
The story centers on the lives of creatures called Bakugan, and the Battle Brawlers who possess them. In February, 2008, Cartoon Network began airing the English language version in the United States.
In conjunction with the series, Sega Toys and Spin Master released a strategic game called Bakugan. The game uses metal cards and magnetic spring loaded miniature action figures.

The figures represent Bakugan. There are six Attributes, Aquos, Subterra, Pyrus, Darkus, Haos, and Ventos. Players engage rivals in a series of battles.
To set up on the battle field, players must sit directly across from each other. Each player starts with three Bakugan, three Gate cards, one silver, one copper, and one gold, and three ability cards, one red, one blue, one green.
Bakugan are set to the players right, and the cards are set face down to the players right. This is called your unused pile. Each player lays down one Gate card face down, in the middle of the field, but closest to their opponent, farthest from themselves.
Player one then rolls his first Bakugan, trying to land on a Gate card. Player two then rolls his Bakugan, trying to land on the same Gate card. When the Bakugan ball lands on a Gate card, the figures magnetically pop open. When two players land on the same Gate card, the battle is on!
Look on your Bakugan to see your G-Power, and then look on the Gate card for your attribute. The bonus points determine who wins that round. The player with the highest G-Power then takes his Bakugan and the Gate card and puts it in his used pile to his left. His opponent puts his Bakugan in his used pile, but has no Gate card!

The game continues until the first person to collect three Gate cards wins! Of course, there is more to it than that, you can use your ability cards, The ability card is a powerful weapon in your arsenal so be sure to use them wisely!! The game can be played with up to four players and the rules stay the same, but... you can also play Big Game Style, using six of everything instead of three.
